FORMER UCONN GREAT TINA CHARLES TO SPEAK AT UCONN STAMFORD April 11th

Two-time Olympic Gold Medal winner Tina Charles is the featured speaker at a Fairfield County Sports Commission sponsored event Tuesday, April 11 at 6 pm at UConn Stamford. Charles, currently a star with the WNBA's New York Liberty and one of the greatest players in UConn women's basketball history, will also be joined by some special guests for the evening. FCSC's "Evening with Tina Charles" starts with a reception where refreshments will be served, followed by Charles speaking and then a Q and A segment. The event is free of charge. FCSC is asking all that attend to consider making a donation of any amount to support the Commission's Chelsea Cohen Fitness Academy.
