The new address for Krispy Krunchy Chicken is the University Deli & Grill, located only a stone’s throw from the University of Bridgeport campus at 500 Park Avenue, conveniently located in a small shopping plaza between Johnson Street and Railroad Avenue. The new business is a godsend to those neighbors who have had a serious yen for delicious chicken.

“We are proud to serve Krispy Krunchy Chicken, we feel it is the best,” said owner Diana Henderson. “And we are trying to be the go-to place, the new address for Krispy Krunchy chicken.”

The Cajun inspired chicken comes in a wide number of combinations and varieties. Among the popular choices are the chicken tenders and also the combination pieces which can be thighs, legs wings or breasts, with any number of piece combinations available.

Accompanying the delicious chicken are delectable honey butter biscuits which patrons say melt in their mouths. A combination of honey butter biscuits and Cajun style chicken tenders has already proven to be a customer favorite.

“The combination of chicken tenders and biscuits has proven to be very popular,” said the owner. “They are a little spicy with a lot of flavor and the biscuits are hot and delicious. And, if you want, you can order just the biscuits, but I wouldn’t miss out on the chicken.”

University Deli & Grill also offers Krispy Krunchy Seafood, which is golden fried. Particularly tantalizing are the golden fried shrimp, which are crunchy and satisfying to seafood lovers. The Krispy Krunchy fried shrimp is another dish at the new store that has proved especially enticing.

Although owner Diana Henderson has established the University Deli $ Grill as the new address for Krispy Krunchy Chicken, there is much more available for customers. For diners who want a great hot meal in the morning, there is a wide array of breakfast sandwiches along with their famous Baronet coffee.

Deli sandwiches are also available and early reports indicate that the Philly Cheese Steak has proven to be a winner. University Deli & Grill is also a full service convenience store with all your needs in mind. Some great deals include a 20 ounce Brisk Ice Tea for only 99 cents.

“We want to be fully service our university neighbors and the entire community,” explained the owner. “We believe that it is really important to be a part of the neighborhood.”
