Graham Reassigned to Mavericks


INDEPENDENCE, Mo. — Defenseman Jesse Graham has been reassigned by the New York Islanders (NHL) from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers (AHL) to the Mavericks.

Graham appeared in 19 games for the Sound Tigers this season, posting 2 goals and 7 assists for nine points and an impressive +11 rating. He has played 19 games for the Mavericks, recording 18 points on 4 goals and 14 assists.

The defenseman was selected in the 6th round (155th overall) in the 2012 NHL draft by the Islanders. He is expected to join the Mavericks for their game tonight in Allen, Texas.
