Head of Discovery Museum to address Bridgeport Rotary Tuesday


Stephen H. Baumann is the Executive Director of Discovery Museum and Planetarium. Stephen previously served as the CEO of the Starfinder Foundation in Philadelphia, President of the National Soccer Hall of Fame and Museum in Oneonta, New York, Executive Director of Kidspace Children Museum in Pasadena, California, Vice President of Education and Programs at Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, New Jersey and Director of Educational Technology Programs at The Franklin Institute Science Museum in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Discovery Museum and Planetarium is a hands-on science museum in Bridgeport, Connecticut, that serves as both a tourist destination and an educational resource for area schools. The Discovery Museum provides dynamic, hands-on STEM experiences designed to resonate with the innate curiosity, learning desire, and spirit of exploration of visitors, encouraging young learners to ask questions, solve problems, and engineer solutions today so they are better prepared to embrace the challenges of tomorrow.
