Wondrous artwork is here at the Brick Walk with the arrival of Three Roses Studio
Two examples of the stupendous art work produced by Three Roses Studio
Established in 2015, Three Roses Studio has started its journey. Frankie Frieri and Nate Peter have been looking into Fairfield, Connecticut for its beautiful downtown scene, its culture, and great vibes. Fairfield has been one of the only towns in Fairfield County to not allow an art gallery/tattoo studio to flourish. We look to break boundaries and help the art community breathe more life into Fairfield.
Three Roses Studio is a vibrant, upscale art studio/gallery/tattoo parlor. Here at Three Roses Studio, we are looking to keep in touch with what we feel as the most important idea that makes us feel alive - art. Becoming a better artist is what we strive to do every day. In addition to a tattoo parlor, we look to have gallery openings for upcoming artists locally and internationally. Although we strive to become better artists, we would like to extend our hand to the community of Fairfield. Paint socials, art classes, charity events are our interests and something we look to host at our studio. Three Roses Studio is more than a tattoo parlor and will look very different than the way people think of tattoo parlors. When tattooing is not going on, the place will be set up as an art studio and gallery. Artists are welcome to come and draw, paint, and create anything with us on certain days.
Traditional Irezumi and Traditional Americana style tattooing caught the attention of Frankie and Nate very early in their career. Frankie has been specializing in Japanese and American work for many years. He then passed along his torch to his most recent apprentice, Nate Peter. Although, we specialize in Japanese and American traditional works, we also do many different styles and enjoy doing custom work. We love to cater to your thoughts and look forward to bringing your ideas to life!
About the Artists:
Frankie Frieri, owner of Three Roses Studio, is a local artist who has worked in New York City. In addition to being a tattoo artist, Frankie creates art in many different mediums, including oil, chalk and pencil. He features his art on sneakers and skateboards as well as on canvases. His work has been featured in magazines and he recently illustrated the cover of a book, which has been published.
Nate Peter, a local artist who sought out Frankie Frieri for an apprenticeship. Nate excelled very quickly in developing and appreciating the traditional style of tattooing. He has grown very fond of the American and Japanese traditional works. While he is growing and excelling in his artistic abilities, Nate grows more and more obsessed with tattooing. Frankie instilled a lot of good values into Nate. His hard work ethic and ability to have fun with his craft have made him truly see the light of tattooing. When he is not tattooing, you can always find him at a coffee shop drawing. His love for creating flash helps him better understand the tricks and techniques of traditional tattooing. Experimenting in different mediums all the time, Nate has grown to love charcoal, marker and pen, and colored pencils drawings the most. You can see some of his artwork here.
