The WorkPlace unveils its new website, www.workplace.org
Bridgeport — Visitors to the new site will be able to find a program center with greater detail on services available to the unemployed and other populations such as veterans and youth. Beyond design enhancements, visitors to the site will notice greater detail on workforce programs and labor market information. The News Hub will help share updates on the impact of workforce development and lifelong learning on people and the community.
Based on feedback from community partners, some new features include an events calendar and improved access to sign up for requests for proposals and the Mobilizer newsletter.
“The WorkPlace works with a wide scope of business leaders, local officials and other stakeholders to develop innovative workforce development programs that address the area’s employment needs and interests,” said Joseph Carbone, President and CEO, The WorkPlace. This newly designed site will improve collaboration with local partners and help ensure improved jobseeker access to services that are consistent with current workforce needs.”
Additionally the new site will help emphasize the value and availability of the region’s American Job Centers where jobseekers can obtain assistance through education, training services, and case management support necessary to secure employment.
The new www.workplace.org site enhances our ability to be the voice for workforce development for the region.
