West Indian Association to Hold Annual Black History Month Youth Luncheon Saturday at the Holiday In
THE WEST INDIAN AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF GREATER BRIDGEPORT, INC., will hold its ANNUAL BLACK HISTORY MONTH YOUTH LUNCHEON on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 12 TO 3 P.M.at Bridgeport Holiday Inn. The Keynote Speaker is Charlie Grady, US Dept. of Justice, FBI. Mr. Grady will speak on career paths as it relates to choices.
Mayor Joseph Ganim, City of Bridgeport, will give greetings. Youth attending includes The Bridgeport Police Youth Explorers, Bridgeport Police Youth Adult Commissioners, University of Bridgeport and other organizations.
The West Indian-American Association of Greater Bridgeport, Inc. (WIAAGB) was founded in September 1997. WIAAGB is a non-profit 501©3) tax exempt organization which serves as a beacon of hope in the Caribbean community. We are a community oriented, social organization devoted to helping individuals and groups with limited resources and opportunities. We provide leadership in maintaining and fostering Caribbean culture and excellence in education in the Greater Bridgeport region. We also extend philanthropic assistance to needy individuals/groups in the USA, Caribbean and other parts of the world.
