Cops investigating shooting of Marina Village woman; despite facial wound drives to Bridgeport Hospi

Police are investigating the following:

31-year-old woman drove herself to Bridgeport Hospital this morning (Saturday) suffering from a gunshot wound to the face.

Woman identified as Linda Mitchell of Marina Village

The suspect is unknown at this time.

Police recovered a slug on the seat of her car which was parked in the hospital garage.

Call came in at 2:43 a.m.

They are investigating.
